Tacky 'Takacs' Christmas
In the spirit of fun this
past holiday season, our Team members donned their Tackiest Christmas
gear, to the amusement of coworkers and patients alike.

Christmas Charity Drive
Once again, our Team
decided to support Women's Place this Holiday season. In
addition to staff donations, patients were encouraged to 'Buy a Tooth
for a Toonie' and help us support the cause.
We have the best patients!
We had fantastic support, and as a result we were able to purchase
toiletries and other gifts to help ensure that the 'tweens and
teens at the women's shelter had a good Christmas.
Last Grasp at Summer Draw
In early September, we held
a contest for our patients to see who could guess the correct number
of floss packets in a jar.
The winner was Mark B, and
his prize was a Meat shop gift card and deluxe BBQ tool set.
Congratulations Mark!
Charity Sportsguard Day
On August 14, 2009 we held
our first Charity Sportsguard Day, in conjunction with Opal Dental
Lab. Custom sportsguards were made while customers waited, with
a portion of the proceeds going to the Welland Hospital Foundation.
The event featured NHL star
Dan Girardi, who signed autographs for all those who came out to
support this worthy cause. Special thanks to Dan and his wife
Pam, as well as Andrew and Robert from Opal Dental Lab, for donating
their time and talent to the event. Thank you also to all those
who came out to have sportsguards done.

CIBC Run for the Cure
On Sunday, September 30, 2007, staff, friends and family walked with
employee Tammy Legacy in the CIBC Run for the Cure. With Tammy
to inspire us, we raised almost $2000 for breast cancer research.
